Friends of Hackney Nurseries (FHN) meeting Thursday 20th 6pm Bath House Nursery
Keep Our NHS Public meeting Thursday 20th MOTH 7pm
There is a new Hackney Heckler out and there is a mass distribution and Friends of Hackney Nurseries leaftletting and petitioning Saturday 22nd at Dalston Kingsland 11 till 1pm
HSN next meeting Tuesday 25th; normal general campaigns meeting but following a meeting of 25 HSN activists recently, and following the creation of the liberal-left Hackney Unites, and the election of the LibCon right wing govt, we have decided that our original aim of trying to create a broad church alliance is not likely to succeed and our energy should be spent concentrating on campaigning and supporting campaigns that will show autonomous collective action instead of 'top-down' campaigning. We will still seek to work with, and support, as many other groups and individuals who are dedicated to this aim, of whatever political background. We will continue with the Heckler but probabaly make it much more frequent, and will be launching a whole series of other events and activities from gigs and parties to street meetings, postering and leafletting. Time to get involved! :)
