Estates Plus Campaign meeting 18th June 2008, Pitcairn House, Mare St, 7pm (Corner of Mare Street and Loddiges Road)

Estates Plus is Hackney Council's plan to sell off the (Their Quote) "Underused land" on estates to
Housing Association for redevelopment. What is underused land? Inevitably, It is going to be the green spaces, playgrounds and car parks.

The Council's aim is to initially target the Frampton Park Estate in Homerton. The Estate Plus Team are to restart their "Consultation", on the estate on the 1st of July 08.

Pat Carmody is a union rep at the Old St office of call centre firm Pell & Bales. P&B workers make fundraising calls on behalf of major charities like Oxfam and UNICEF - but the company doesn't always treat staff ethically.
