The next HSN/Reel News Film-discussion Evening is a Harvest Festival Food Special! Sunday 12th September 2010 7-10pm MOTH Club Valette Street - From Detroit to Cuba to Eigg -

Reel News spent a week in Detroit in August 2010 filming urban food growing projects and this will be their first showing in London of what they filmed. We will also have an original films on Eigg, where local islanders bought out the Laird, and Cuba, where both sets of islanders have had to re focus on how to sustain their communities, and original interveiws with Via Campesina on global sustainability.

Campaigning against Tesco's presence in Clapton Pond

The planning meeting has been announced to review the planning applications. It is on : Weds 6th October from 6:30pm at Hackney Town Hall.

We are planning a protest outside the Town Hall from 6pm Please come along to show your support for the No Clapton Tesco Campaign and help keep Tesco out of Lower Clapton Road.
