housing! We want immediate repairs, fair rent and suitable homes!

Court Hostel – corner of 67 Stoke Newington rd and Belgrade rd.
Hackney Council hasdisrespected their temporary accommodation tenants.
They have to put up with:
- homes so unsuitable
some residents cannot even leave their room
- Rents of £350 a week
- Dirty communal areas
- Overcrowded living conditions, for years on end.
- Some residents have been without heating and hot water for six months while others have lost water supply to their rooms.
- Mice and other infestations.
After several letters and
delegations of residents complaining to local councilor Rita Krishna and the
Temporary Accommodation services management little has changed. Join with
temporary accommodation residents this Saturday to demand good housing for all.
