The New Lammas Lands Defence Committee warmly invite you to join us on
World Wetlands Day for a walk across Walthamstow Marshes on Sunday 1st
February.

Meet 2.15pm at the Lee Valley Ice Centre car park, Lea Bridge Road,
E10 (buses 48, 55, 56)

A short afternoon stroll to mark the internationally designated World
Wetlands Day, which takes place each year and is celebrated worldwide.
Please join us as we walk beside the River Lea Navigation, then cross
Leyton and Walthamstow Marshes to end at the Waterworks Visitors
Centre at Lammas Road.

Please note that this is not quite a circular walk! but it is only
about 3 miles.

Children and very well behaved dogs are very welcome. However this
walk is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Some of the route
may be very wet and therefore Wellingtons or stout above ankle
waterproof footwear is mandatory- you will not be permitted to join if
in unsuitable footwear.
