10 APRIL MARCH & RALLY IN DEFENCE OF THE WELFARE STATE AND PUBLIC SERVICES (see poster attached with details)

This very important demonstration has been called by the National Pensioners' Convention - there are now 24 trade unions and another 5 campaigns on board organising the event.
The aim is to lay down a marker to the politicians (of whatever political description) before the General Election that we will not stand for more cuts and privatisation of our public services, including the National Health Service.

The national Keep Our NHS Public has commissioned a banner with the slogan “Fight for our NHS”.

We are inviting the BMA, the health unions, and health campaigners to march together as an NHS contingent on the march behind this banner.

ALL HACKNEY HEALTH CAMPAIGNERS ARE INVITED TO JOIN THE NHS CONTINGENT

We plan to meet at the corner of Middle Temple Lane and Victoria Embankment at 12 noon on the day. (See map of meeting place http://www.facebook.com/l/58b82;tinyurl.com/nhs-contingent http://www.facebook.com/l/58b82; ).
Hope to see you all there. Please let all your friends, family, neighbours, work colleagues know about it.

2. OUR PLANS TO PUBLICISE THE MARCH & RALLY IN HACKNEY

There is a colour and black & white version of the A4 poster attached.

B) Can you come to our street stall on Saturday 27 March 11 am in the Mare Street entrance to Tesco (the Morning Lane Tesco) to leaflet Hackney residents about the march? Please let me know if you can come.
